When Do City Break Tickets Pay Off?

The purchase of a day ticket pays off in Vienna from three single journeys at normal price. This applies to the entire public transport network.

A day ticket pays off even after 4 discounted journeys in Vienna.

Additional special tickets such as the Vienna Welcome Card are a recommendation for public transport in combination with discounts at the entrance to sights, museums and attractions.

Transfers

  • Vienna Schwechat Airport VIE: The capital's airport is relatively well connected to the city by public transport, the S 7 S-Bahn line offers a connection to the city center.
